What we cut on Main Street
The Main Street shop does men's haircuts, skin fades, low, mid and high tapers, scissor cuts, beard line-ups and traditional hot towel shaves. A men's haircut takes about 30 minutes. A fade with a beard line-up takes about 45. Most cuts run $60–$100 depending on the barber and the service.
If you're not sure what to ask for, our guides to what a fade actually is, the seven basic haircuts and how a beard should be lined up will give you the vocabulary before you sit down.
Getting here
Park free on Main Street directly outside the shop — the street spaces along the gallery block are three-hour, which is more than enough for any service we offer. Old Town also has free public garages within a few minutes' walk if Main Street is full, which it usually is on a Thursday evening and on event weekends.
Thursdays on Main Street
The Scottsdale ArtWalk runs every Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM along Main Street — the same block we're on. It has been running since 1975 and is the longest-running weekly art walk in the country. It's free, the galleries stay open late, and there's usually live music on the street.
We close at 6:00 PM, so Thursday afternoon is the appointment to book if you want to be cut and then walk straight out into it. It's also the busiest street parking of the week after about 6:00 PM, which is worth knowing either way.
Cutting in Old Town since 2015
Wendy Armenta opened Blurred Lines in September 2015 and has been grooming men's hair since 2012. She leads the shop and still cuts. Alongside her, Cisco De la Cruz brings a decade behind the chair, Alfonzo Q. is the one to book for the same cut every time, and David Villanueva has built a fast following on clean blends and crisp line-ups. Angel Navarro, our longest-serving barber, is based at our Optima shop.
You book a barber, not a queue number — choose the person you want when you book online, and read their bios first if you're new to the shop.
Walk in or book ahead
Yes — walk-ins are welcome at the Main Street shop, and booking online takes under a minute. Saturday mornings and the last hour before close are the busiest windows, so book ahead if you're working to a schedule. If you need something same-day, our Emergency Haircut slots exist for exactly that.
